[National Information Society Agency] AI·API-based DPG innovation service development programme — AI persona-based culture matching service

Overview

An AI persona-based cultural matching project selected under the government's support program for developing DPG innovation services based on AI and APIs. The service uses AI to analyse information on 8,600 cultural facilities nationwide together with data on cultural consumers, and proposes cultural content tailored to each individual's characteristics.

Partners and roles

StellarCube operates the service in cooperation with LG Uplus, Samsung Card, NICE Zini Data and People and Forest, and runs it directly after development.

Technology

Mobile network data and card spending data are combined to define personas for both cultural providers and consumers, and AI personas reflecting gender, age, income and spending patterns drive personalized recommendations. Operators of individual cultural facilities receive mobile network-based visitor analysis, in which AI analyses recent data to produce reports suited to each institution's situation and draws out its strengths, weaknesses and policy direction.

Deliverable

The service is delivered as Cultureplus. It offers suggestions tailored to the user's age, daily routine and spending tendencies, and gives facility managers AI reports for regional demand analysis, event planning and promotional targeting. It was unveiled at the 2024 Korea Government Expo, held at the Kimdaejung Convention Center in November 2024.
